I usually mix up this weird shit my hair "stylist" recommended to me, it is some "formant freeze control" and "formant texture." its like pomade and some kind of gel I think. makes my hair crazy soft but still completely sculptable, but when my hair gets too long it starts to fall over under its own weight and instead of having volume it is just flat to my head. you could try that, except it costs a fortune ($60 and runs out every two months). otherwise, use ICE gel. that shit will get you the gel and spikey look that looks gay and has been out of style for at least six years.

yeah i heard that stuff is awesome and it doesn't leave or have the "hard, sharp, pointy" look. More natural.

l'oreal out of bed (apply on dry hair like wax)
my hair looks the same as my frnd's $20-30 ones bought at hair city, give it a try when it's on sale for 4.xx

l'oreal has two kinds and if you're not sure which kind it's the thicker one that feels more like wax than gel

Fructis Wax is such a great product, I use it on the ends of my hair to define the layers, plus you can use it to texture or spike and smooth frizzy pieces.

I use wax aswell. I forget what kind I am using right now (I think it was $25) but it doesn't wash out that great. The last stuff I got at the salon and was awesome. I think it might have been a Redken product...

well "azndragon"... if your hair looks anything like the some of the guys in this thread ill be knocking on your door with shears in hand.

http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=91946

if not then i say ICE spiker is the best, kinda expensive tho. if you goto shoppers get that "got2b" hair spiker (its in a yellow tube) and i swear its the exact same thing as ICE, looks the same, feels the same, smells the same and it 1/4th the price.

I dont know why you guys hate so much on the crazy spikey hair. Reminds me of people who use to bash my Mohawk and long ass spikey hair too. They would all jump to conclusions and think i'm some hardcore banger. Little do they know Im as sober as a judge, as well as more than likely more intelligent and more sucessful than them.

What could be even more sad, than a bunch of men sharing their opinions on hair styling products?

The fact that they all want to look the same!

Maybe there is comfort in conformity for some. Personally, I think the cookie cutter, short messy, everybody at the bar style, is lame.

Do whatever everyone else isn't, barring only variants of the mullet! :)
