I just bought 1993 oldsmobile supreme s for my toronto trip then im selling the car when i get back. Anyways i have been using google, yahoo trying to find fuel mileage info on this car but there info is bull!

I have a cadillac catera and the reports say 10-14 miles to a gallon...way off im getting double that for sure...

So my question is does anyone have a 3.1/ this car and know what there getting for fuel mileage???

i had the older, similar model (1988, ninty-eight regency) and it was wicked on gas for the highway... i filled up, and went from Calgary, to the saskatchewan border and back on one tank. of course there was no hill climbing involved, so most of the trip was coasting lol, but for a V6, that's decent.

in town was decent too..maybe 500-ish km's per tank. ( i have a lead foot)

I had a 94' Cutlass supreme sl w/ the 3.2l. I got about 6-700ish km to a tank on the highway.

why aren't you taking you Catera? worried it will break down?
I was going to buy a Catera and had my mind set because they are hot looking cars and rwd. But once I read reviews and 99% of them were bad I changed my mind. Have you had many problems with your Catera?

my friend drives a ninety eight and when i used to cruise with him, we could get about 550 on one of my tanks and about 650-700 on his. Not bad for 20 more HP and a bigger displacement :D
