Cannot login to router =\

Hooked my laptop back up to the network at home today, internet works fine, Network also works fine between computers, but i cannot login to my router from any computer

Linksys BEFSR41 4 port.

the router from hell.. im almost ready to just toss this thing and buy something else.

any one know what the probable cause is?
Also can you guys suggest any better routers than linksys ( with out going to third party firmware )

the linksys ones are not as bad. as for forgetting your password to get into the admin console you could always reset the router by using the little switch on the back of the router and it will also reset the password back to default.

i think for that particular router the reset button is in front

i had a linksys before and it didn't reset unless u unpluged all the cables from it (other then power) so if u not having luck reseting try that

Read your manual, all routers has reset to factory default function but each does a slightly different way.

i have the same router as u, just hold that reset button for like 5 secs and it should reset everything to default
