Hey,
Was wondering if anyone is familiar with these DVD systems. Apparently you can only play some type of proprietary DVD format (what the sales rep referred to as 'Navigation Format') in the factory DVD players for the X5 without making some kind of mod. (Possibly even a simple setting change). but.....Quote from sales rep.....
"BMW S T R I T C L Y forbids the Tech to make the change, from what I understand some of them know how to do it but will lose their jobs if they do any unauthorized mods to the system"
Does this make sense to anyone, is this guy just confusing me?...assuming this is actually true, do you know someone who has gotten around this problem?
