On my way home from Urban Rice (again! haha) I drove by what I thought was a checkstop at first, but turned out to be a single car flipped upside down on Crowchild. I have no idea how that happened as the stretch of road he was on was just a banked light left hander. He must've been going really fast but didn't turn and plowed straight into the wall and flipped.

I sure hope hes okay cuz his car isn't in good shape.

I don't know about you guys but, it looks like barely any major damage to the car, as if some one placed it like that. I'm going get one of those cars

Actually I think it's a early 90's civic... 89' maybe 90? They all look similar, but wow it look like it held up well. Hope the guys alright.

It didn't really hold up that well, the driver side is crushed more than the passenger side. I saw the police walking someone away from the car, so it appears somebody walked away from that accident.

Happened on Canada day @ about 4am. This was on southbound Crowchild just after the naval museum and right before Chinook College.

You are the only one who is right.

It's an 88-89 Civic LX sedan.

my girlfriend was right behind them when this happened! i guess the guy was speeding around that corner that merges on crowchild, right by the naval museum. so this guys booking the corner and his back end swings out, back wheel hit the divider before the merge, and he rolls it. they slid however far and smoke that wall. then the driver climbs out the back window and books it into the neibourhood:eek: my girlfriend and another lady that stopped pulled the passenger out of the car, the guy had a broken nose or someting and was bleeding pretty bad from his arm. police show up with the K-9 unit and go looking for the driver, pretty crazy shit!

Well ain't he a great fuckin friend, rolls the car with his buddy in it, and then fucks off leaving his buddy cut to shit and messed up, plus he didn't know if there was a gas leak that could make the car explode, I'd kill the dumb basterd if I was the passenger.

That's terrible. I did one stupid thing a while back (treed my first 240sx) and the first thing I did was see if my friend was ok...it wasn't nothing major, but I'd never even THINK of running...sad excuse for a person.

Unless it was stolen and they were out for a joyride....

I have no respect for someone who can steal a car from someone else either. Or even small things. Stealing from a corporation is one thing...stealing from average Joe, is quite another. Average Joe worked for his car, so should you. And if he didn't (parents) that's his business. If he respects it, he deserves it anyhow, if not, it'll break down, or he'll crash it.

Speaking of "how the heck do people do that" I was southbound on Crowchild at the Dalhousie exit. Some guy in a Caravan some how drove up the wall. I mean you figure he'd have plowed into the wall... but nope. Both his front tires were up on the wall.
