Here's the deal:

I originally bought this car last year as a project car and
have simply lost interest (it doesn't take me long lol).

The car is not perfect yet, but I have invested a LOT of
money in it and it's WELL on it's way to being a great car,
I just want something else.

With that said, I'm willing to fork up an extra $5k on top
of my car on a trade up for your car,... if it's the right
one.

If you're interested, here's the details:

The car is a 1986.5 NA hardtop Supra with a JDM 7MGTE turbo
motor, turbo tranny and running gear, and swapped turbo
interior. The NA hardtop car was chosen over an already
turbo'ed car for it's lighter weight and the hardtop's
structural rigidity.

The car is teal/burgandy... not the best color combo ever
as the owner prior to the one I bought the car from painted
right over the original burgandy paint. I didn't see this
as a big deal as I was going to have it repainted blood red
anyhow. Of course the car still looks good this color and
turns heads.

The body on the car is solid and virtually rust-free, except
for a couple small spots where paint has chipped off exposing
the bare metal.

As for the interior, it's in good shape with no rips or
tears in the seats, and no cracks in the dash.

The car has 17X,xxx kms, and I believe the JDM engine to have
less than that.

CARFAX on this car is clean.

When I started modifying the car, I started by making sure
the car was running 100%. After that I was going to start
turning up the boost, but haven't gotten to it.

With that said the car has:

-been compression tested at 145 - 160psi all cylinders
-fresh oil, synthetic tranny fluid, rad fluid
-new NGK Iridium spark plugs
-slave cylinder just replaced
-recent clutch
-recent radiator
-timing belt was done
-replaced head gasket with HKS metal gasket and new
ARP head bolts (only real known weakness with these cars)
-head was resurfaced
-valve grind
-mandrel bent, polished intercooler tubing
-polished intake plenum and valve covers
-eibach pro lowering springs
-tokico blue shocks
-power slot rotors in front, cross drilled in back
-EBC green racing brake pads
-17x8 wheels with 225/45 rubber front, 245/45 rear
-tires nearly brand new, 95%+
-cold air K&N intake

Naturally, the car runs and drives great, burns NO oil and
the turbo spools nicely.

I also have a lot of extra parts for the car that came with it
when I bought it, as the guy I bought it fromhas 2 or 3 of
these cars and gave me the extra parts for my project Supra.
Those spare parts include an extra turbo for the car that's in
solid working order from what I can tell.

I also have a couple of extra gauges and a pillar pod on the
way.

I'm not sure of the exact amount I've put into this car off
the top of my head, but I paid $3.5k for the car before all
the mods and work that went into it, and my estimate would be
another $7k - $9k more totalling around $10.5k - $11.5k. I
have most invoices.

All the work was done not by me, but by a reputable shop in
Edmonton.

I'm sure there's more I could tell you about the car, but I
think that's good for now.

If you're interested in making a deal, let me know what you've
got to trade (with details and pics if you've got 'em), and
of course how much cash you were thinking on top of my car
and we'll go from there.

This could be a win-win situation for both parties involved,
so let me know.

Either PM me on here, or even better email me at

P.S. I'll post up a couple pics of the car soon, based on
interest.

If you're wondering what I'm looking to trade on, I'm only interested in sports cars, and sorry but no automatics.

Examples:

Honda CRX, Civic SI or Prelude
Acura Integra GS-R
5.0L Mustang
Toyota MR2
JDM's
Etc, etc.

That reminds me, I forgot to mention the Supra is a 5 spd, but
the "newer clutch" comment would have given that away :)

Let me know what you've got!

Okay, I've just posted up a bunch of pics of the Supra
Turbo.

Go here to view them:
http://www.netcola.com/supra/

As you can see from the pics, the car is not perfect like
I mentioned, but it's not far from being a very fast, very
nice and very sexy car. Basically a paint job and a few
small mods to turn up the boost.

The only real problems are:

-The paint... it's peeling and could use a paint job. The
worst of it is on the front spoiler. (see pics)
-The driver's side door molding and a small dent at the
crease. (see pics)
-The power steering isn't hooked up.
-The car has no stereo.

Sure it needs a little finishing, but if the car were
already done I'd be asking $10k for it ;-)

As it sits right now, I value the car around $6k, so you
have a basis to go from if you want to trade.

Let me know, I'm looking to make a deal ASAP while there's
still a little summer left.

If I were to sell the car straight out, I'd price it at $6,000 OBO.

This is someone's opportunity to grab this car for a fraction of what's been put into it in upgrades and new parts.
