UV in Car Wax?

I was in Canadian Tire today and I overheard these two guys talking about which wax was best for the car. That's when one of them mentioned you should get a wax w/ UV protectant included to prevent color fade.

I've never heard of UV protectant in anything but sunscreen. Is this guy right?
