Everything looks good except the Blitz SUS filter. They don't filter small dirt particles and cost a lot of $$$. You still haven't got it running?

I know thoes filters arn't super but I wanted one of thoes specificaly for this setup. My plan is to sew up (yes, i can sew lol) a filter "bag" to fit over it for daily driving. And i can remove it when i want the full benifit of having the mesh filter. There is virtualy no pressure drop across the surface area of this style filter, and I'm thinking it will buy me a couple hundred rpm earlier, and faster overall spool. This over the standard k&n type filter.

The car is running, just finished the break in. Just have to get the turbo buttoned up.

Very nice work on the top mount Corey, I know those are very difficult with such little room to work with. How do you intend on bracing it? I'm a little unfamiliar with how the bracing works with this style...

Anyways gj

did you go with this style because of fitment issues?

Thanks dude. It won't need any extra bracing after i finish weld it. Actually, i don't brace any of my manifolds. I have had a few logs crack on me tho, but thoes were from way back when i first started tig welding and didn't exactly know what i was doing :D

Really, i just like the way it looks and nobody else has it. (b series anyhoo) I actually think that the full-race style manifold will have better performance than this one :dunno:

Access is alot better with a top mount tho, can pop the turbo off, filter off, downpipe off all from the top. So thats an added bonus.

What type of metal are you using? Also I hope your planing on puting some support bracing underneath that to help support the wieght of the turbo and downpipe!
