ya i looked in to that one, dont wast ur time with that guy, hes rude as hell, the car has been in 3 accidents and its not even a type r. he just dropped an engine in rs. but he will not admit it haha.

you must mean the 2001, i just checked the vin on the 97 and here is what it came up with:

VIN: JH4DC2312VS800320
Year/Make/Model: 1997 ACURA INTEGRA TYPE-R

Engine Type: 1.8L L4 PFI DOHC VTEC
Manufactured In: JAPAN

brutal about that other guy, if its a fake type R, its easy to spot if you know what to look for. good luck with your search.
