I may be wrong but is this the general idea of whats going on?
Korea dropped out of an agreement to not make nuclear weapons, and started producing them ...no target in mind...no reason. U.S. said if they continue production they will put boycotts and sanctions against their country, Korea basicaly said "Fuck You, you do that and will use the weapons against you."

The US is an extremely dangerous rogue nation, it will do anything it takes to keep most of the world's wealth with its 4% of the world's population at the expense of the rest of the world. I am far more worried about the US, with its grotesque armament which is able to destroy the entire surface of the earth, than I am with North Korea's potential tiny armament. 12V, your gist of things is accurate if your information has come from american media, which is very biased and riddled with propoganda.
