If I bought a B16A2 engine off a friend of mine inorder to do a Ls/Vtec swap is this pretty much all i need?

"Its a long block. So a complete block and head minus the distributor and throttle position sensor, wiring harness."

you'll need all of the upper half of the B16... and stick it on the LS block (with minor modifications of course).. so looks like you need to go shopping for a dizzy, TPS/throttle body, and harness...

that's cuz there's parts missing... if i were you, that would be the excuse to get a huge AM throttlebody, skunk2 intake mani, port match and polish, and skunk2 stage 2 cams, springs and retainers.

DO IT.. as long as the head is in usable shape, buy it.. Just do not short cut this project.. do everything correctly, which means lots of time and money will be spent on the motor alone.... but the end result will put a smile on your face,... for me... it's just not fast enough lol.

EDIT: go disrtibuter-less..

Hey, I've got a ton of parts that you'll need. I've PM'd You. I have a rebuilt head with all the necessary parts. Make sure you build this properly or you'll be kicking yourself in the ass later. Nothing's worse than getting it all together just to have something small break or leak just because you didn't buy a stronger part.
