How much is your insurance? Have you tried going with a different company?I would call and get a quote on the 99 sir before making any decisions. I think the money saved on insurance can make you future sir a little quick ride.

SIR would be mid 16s in the quarter in Calgary. Neither of these cars are fast when left stock. Lot's of potential with the RSX-S with just boltons though. Just have to spend the cash.

Get a quote from your insurance company on the types of cars you're looking at. No point getting rid of this car if the one you get to replace it will cost about the same to insure.

Wow, that's alot for full coverage!!! How long have you been driving? You should sell it and work on something that is a lot more affordable instead of paying shit loads on insurance. 300 for a sir seems like a lot also.

strongly agree, the k20 bolt on are unbelivable. althought the sir does have a b16 which also has potential. My friend has a 2000 sir and he loves it, but then again he never owned a type s before lol

I owned a 99 SiR, and I really enjoyed it. It has around 50HP less then the Type-S though, so don't expect the same level of speed.

What type of coverage do you have on the RSX right now? Have you tried taking stuff like windshield coverage off? If not you might as well. Most deductables are $500.00. I'm guessing a windshield for an RSX is not that much. $400/month is really steep. As mentioned by others, shop around.

try $500K liability, $1000 deductible for collision, $250 deductible for comprehensive with deletion of windshield and NO SEF 20 or 27.. see what that works out to
