It's weird looking that's for sure, but my reaction was that I felt sorry for it. I guess it lived a pretty long life (15 years or so)... hopefully it wasn't in pain or anything that whole time, 'cause it looks like it was in a serious accident or had birth defects --- but I think that's just how that breed of dog is... different looking.

That's just a friggin tear-jerker right there, holy! She loved Sam when the whole world rejected and shunned him. He's in a better place now.

Sam is suffering from congestive heart failure, lung and kidney problems and has definitely slowed down in his twilight years.

Sam, who's pushing 15, has a hernia lump on his backside, too.

Any normal person would put the dog down rather than let it croak around deaf and blind and have half its organs turned to jello. WTF.

Shit, that's what I was fearing. I thought that was just how the breed looked! Crap. I'd really hate to think that she let him live and suffer just so she could win a stupid fucking contest.

I would have taken the prize money FROM THE FIRST TIME he won and gotten his cataracts fixed. I don't know if this is more sad or fucked up.
