Why was the engine replaced?

Engine was replaced under warreny, I was the original buyer of this car back in Feb 2000. This was the first production car to get the new 2zzge engine and any of the celica's produced in the first approx 6 months of production got a weak oil pump. My oil pump let go and took the engine with it. Toyota knew of the problem and put a new engine in under warrenty.

the other being I want a quick sale because I bought a new house and the wife is bugging me to sell it, I put that in my original post. But if the paint chip keep everyone away then I'll spend $800-$1000, get the front bumper and hood painted and jack up the price to $22,000.

Bottom line is this is a great condition GT-S (except for the cosmetic damage of paint chips that can be easily repainted). This is the cheapest GT-S in the auto trader right now, the next one is at 19,800 and is a completely stock one with 79,000 km. I don't undestand how people are shying away from this great deal. Maybe I need to increase my price a few grand and then they will look at it because it will just be a good deal instead of a great deal.
