July 8th RC, my first drag run,, Funny

yeah.. it was my first.. and I was so nervous.. ;)

at 1st run, I didn't see the tree and failed to launch.. haha..

moreover, I crunched 3rd gear so badly (couldn't get in 3rd during over 1 second passing)

2nd run was worse..

I failed to get 3rd,,(I got 5th instead of 3rd.. foolish.. )

and evenmore, I got my E-brake engaged with about 1/3 force,,

and then forgot about it during the 2nd race.

(fortunately it was not that bad.. cuz my E-brake is originally worn pretty much already..)


anyway,, from the 3rd run.. I found the way to start a "Drag",,

and...

my best time is here..

1/4 16.341 @ 87.10 mph

after 11:00 pm, I met one guy in 05 Mustang V6 with 5 AT,

and had two good runs with him, I got two wins.

(by 0.8xx and 0.1xx sec in real running time)

it was cool..


I got my 3rd gear crunched three times today..

I felt my 11 year old synchros should be replaced..

and suerly my skill should be improved, too..


BTW, how about u guys,,? got some good time? or

was there still some traction problems?
