Dom is becoming quite famous, pretty impressive car to say the least. With his new tranny and diff, I'm quite sure its up there in terms of the fastest street VW around these parts.

Fastest I saw him run was low 14s. :dunno: His mph was around 105 suggesting it was a quicker car than that. But I don't know about 12s in Calgary.

He recently moved from Ontario.. so his timeslip would be from there. He didnt turn up his boost either for his Calgary run, as well it was with bald borrowed front tires.

Cool, once all that is sorted Out I hope to see him come out and run at RC. We need more compacts in the 13s and 12s

i was talking to him a a few weeks ago, he was getting his tranny re built. so i guess it's up and running??

i believe the fastest i saw him run was 13.05, either way his car is the fastest or one of the fastest jetta's in calgary.

dom was saying he was trying to get on beyond but couldn't, hopefully he gets on here to prove to everyone his car is fast.

He was running about 15 pounds that night on a little cocktail mix of race and pump gas.

His previous times were without the limited slip and new gears, he should drop around 1 sec on his next run.
He's planning to run his car at the Mission track in 2 weeks so 12's shouldn't be a problem.

I had a little encounter last Wed on McLeod with that car.
I was shocked when I stabbed it in second and he was right there. LOL. Super quick VW.

From what I understand, he had a pretty hard time against a certain dsm from a stand still, didn't pass until 190km. Thats a little futher than a quarter. The dsm isn't 12's although very close. Very, very nice car none-the-less.

Well, he ate a Z06 corvette with plenty of witnesses, so he can't be too bad....

I have never heard of race City adjusting any times...
After talking to him again, I am quite sure he hasnt turned his boost all the way up since being here...and Im sure he would love to join people at Race City. He does have slips from Ontario, and if I remeber correctly, he is off to Mission Speedway this month with some slicks.
I'll see if I can get a scan of one of his slips from him.

Once again, when he went to RC he ran low boost, pump gas and a set of borrowed bald tires.

When he ran me he was running 15psi with race gas. Can he turn it up even more?

Last Dyno run in Ontario he was running around 20 pounds with C16. Made well over 300Hp/300TQ to the wheels.

Remeber he is running bone stock internals. After he comes back from Water Fest we are taking the car to Mission. We'll see what happens.:)
