Command Start

The truck I bought has Command Start Remote Auto Starter from CSI Manufacturing and Disttribution, and 2 remotes Model #cs-555. that is all I know about the system ,does anyone have some info on this unit? or could you tell me where I could find an owners manual on line.

I have some Command Start manuals, but I need to know the model # of the unit to be sure.

The usual setup for the transmitter is as follows:

Button I = Start
Button II = Lock and Unlock
Both Together = Trunk

To stop is either Button I or Button I then Button II

Cold Start on/off = Button I ,then Button II, then Both (3 Flashes of Parklights is on, 4 flashes is off)

where do you find the unit? under the dash or under the hood?

The unit number is usually on the unit under the dash. If it is a black box, it should have a number like CSI 290i, or something like that.
If it is a silver square box it may be a 1500, or 2400/2500.:thumbsup:

Hey Strugari.

I found this forum while doing a google search. Do you have a manual for a CS1500?

Iit would help me out greatly. I bought a unit back in '98 but I never installed it in any of my vehicles. I got it cheap because it was missing the manual and I would like to make use of the unit.

I have to check my CSI files. I know I have the 3000, and the owners guide was the same for the 1500, 1800 and 3000.

I ran into this thread while looking for info on the remote for a pickup i bought . I have looked on the fob and the box , even looked on pcb for numbers you have listed and can't find any that you have listed as series . Model CS 555 is on the fob i have. None of the board numbers or parts correspond ?
I also would like to find a manual to change the delay , as my pickup is a diesel and wire the door locks in. Any info i fine i will share if everyone will do the same for me.
