Hey everyone,

I am currently looking for a newish car to buy. Here is what I need:

- 00 or newer, pref. at least 1 year of warranty
- about $22 500
- pref. Japanese cars but any import will do, not looking at domestic.
- decent base HP with a lot of mod-ability.

Here are the cars I have been looking at already. Anything else I should consider looking at? I love Hondas, esp. Type R's, but it is hard to find a Type R that still has warranty on it.

- 00/01 Integra Type R
- 02 RSX type S
- 00 Celica gts
- 01 Integra gsr
- 02 Civic sir
- 02 RSX premium
- 02 WRX

Any suggestions on other cars to look at would be great. Thanks for the help beyond!

Must you have a newer car? is the warranty that important to you? Ever thought about a early-mid 90's car? boost? importing?

But if you must pick a newer car, get a WRX sti.

Warranty is pretty important because my parents co-signed my loan so they want some input as to what I get, and they don't really care as long as the car has a warranty. The STI is a bit out of my price range, as is the WRX itself, unless I can find a good deal on one. I love boost though.
