anyone know where a good place to get a inspection?? it would be better if it were close to chinook. and post the price please.

and would u trust a inspection that came with the car from the dealership? was a 150 point inspection but ppl tell me i should get a second one from somewhere else just incase.

Any automotive shop can do an inspection. Look around. Some things to look for at a reputable shop include:

1) They will be licensed to do oop inspections, meaning that they have spent some capital on equipment.

2) Make sure it is a clean looking shop both in front and outback.

3) Should be fairly busy. Be learey of a shop that can get you in right away.

4) Make sure there is more than one journeyman on staff. Lots of independents have a journeyman as an owner and then no one else.

As for dealerships I ALWAYS get my own inspection done. I would never trust a dealers inspection.
