"good" places to park near stampede grounds?

do you guys know of any? just about to head out, and I don't feel like park and riding unless absolutely necessary. as long as it's under or around 10 bucks for the day, and it's safe to park there, i won't mind so much.

If you're going in the evening, find a spot with a parking meter in the vicinity of 10th, 11th, 12th, or 13th Ave and Centre St S. These spots free, well within walking distance. Best time to look is about 5:30 to 5:45pm, just before the meters no longer require money.

Friday night I parked right by the train station, there was this blocker thing blocking the parking lot but I just squeezed through it... parked for free and when I was leaving, the guy like even escorted me out vip style hahaha...

they say 2 hour parking but if you don't get chalked, then u are good for another 2 hours :p

i work there so i park on that street.

also if you park after 4 PM the 2 hour overlaps onto after 6 PM and u are basically freebie

its only about 5 to 10 mins walk from the grounds so its not that bad

after work hours I have a key that lets me park underground so im cool and no one can get down there without a key :p

Every year I park for free up at the cementary. If you're patient you'll find a good spot. Although today I had to park close to Degreeves cuz there was free entry to stampede till 930. Damn cheap people...

10th ave between mcleod north and south.... there 2-3 impark lots there, none of which have raised there parking prices. so $8/day i think

the cemetary usually has security guards all day and most of the evening, plus it is full of crackwhores and homeless people (i used to work at that cemetary)

It is weird they have around 300 spots and i know they handed out 300 passes for the 10 days of stampede. My guess is if the lots full and people with passes can't park they will start to ticket and tow then.

NO wednesday is "kids day" its free before 9 too. I believe every other day its free before 7am.

Last 4 days i've been parking in the lot of the mechanics a block or two in on 17th off mcleod. Walk is like 5 minutes from the stampede and people there dont care. But I come down usually around 11pm so who knows if its busy during the day.

Walmart has 3 admissions for the price of 2 ($24) and can be used multiple days by multiple ppl.

There's this one house between the Olympic Way entrance and Round up Centre that's pretty cheap. Asian guy and he charges $8. Another alternative is by the cemetary. It's far, but free. :rofl:
