stampede fireworks

where is a good location to view the fireworks ....
i don't want to pay admission just to see them ....

hopefully i can avoid the traffic as well ...

We drove up to Max Bell last night, wasn't too bad. One year we sat on top of some apartment buildings up off of Edmonton Trail somewhere, the view was pretty decent from there too.

Spiller Road, etc are definitely good though. So nice and close!
