Hey guys... if you are looking for a class that is moderately easy to get a B+ - A in ... I would really recommend:

GRST 211 - Tech Terms of Medicine.. it's all online based, you can use google to find the answers to the questions.

COMS363- Some work, but if you get a good TA, it's pretty easy. A lot of group work, but NO midterm or final

anyone else take any easy options?? post em:guns:

The easy A classes are the ones that you enjoy and pursue with your best efforts...

The Easy A courses are all listed in the Timetable book you pick up at the Registrars office. The page you are looking for (if they still publish this list) is "High Demand Courses".

Thats how I did my schedule when I went to U of C ;)

Anything that's not for majors tends to be easy.

Any class that has Leslie Reid as the prof is a great choice  . Well, I've never been registered in her class but I did sit in on a few of her lectures a couple of years ago...

Well, I guess they have changed some things. Until Winter 04', the class was COMPLETELY online based. Now, If you take the course during the Fall/Winter terms, the whole class is Blackboard based, which is sweet, but the final is supervised in the Microlabs...

However, the class is also offered COMPLETELY online in the Spring term. No matter which province you live in, you can take it via Blackboard. The final is also online.

I guess the U of C realised that everyone was getting A- A+'s in the course, so they changed some things around for the Fall/Winter terms.

But it's really easy to do in the Spring, lots of my friends have taken it, the lowest mark i've ever heard in it is a B+... with no effort. Hope that helps!:guns:

Oh yeah, another good option to take is APSY 205....

This is a class from the dept. of Applied Psyc called 'becoming an effective learner'

Basically, the course teaches you things on study habits and whatnot.. most of it is common knowlede.

Some girlfriends of mine have taken it.

There is a take home final, and a simple midterm.

GRST209 with Hume. Very basic survey course, and if your TA rocks, you are set for an easy A. Just be prepared to write ~15 pages worth of reports over the semester. Apart from that, it's a class you can sleep through (and I often did, dare I say)

Yes, and no. There is a lot of reading for each midterm. Depending on the prof, you can get 3 midterms, with a final, and one 'throw away' test.. (you can't omit the final, however)...it's more work, and they test you on lil details...:bullshit:

GRST 211 when all online is a huge joke. Easy A. But I didn't do it when the final was in class.
