View Full Version : Long Overdue UK photos

Well, it's been a little over a month since I've gotten back from my two weeks in the UK and I am just now finally getting a chance to begin editing my photos. I'll be posting them up a few at a time as I get them picked through, sized, touched up, ect. (I took well over 800 photos so understand that it takes a while!)

But I figured I'd start the thread cause everyone keeps asking to see some pictures from my Trip :) I'll try to label everything as best as I can so you get the idea of what you're looking at!

Because this is an ongoing thread, please refrain from posting your own pictures please! Comments are TOTALLY welcome but please don't post your own UK pictures or pics that have been inspired by anything that you see here! :)

I appologize for the 'watermarks' but all of these photos are going to be sold and I dont want them being used by other people for other purposes (not saying anyone on here would do that, but I have had it happen before! )

If you're interested in purchasing prints of anything you see, let me know!

Enjoy! :)

HAHA, no, I'm sure your editing skills are quite up to par by now. ;) Minh has implied that the fact we have a toilet and running water are cause for celebration, so I'm not gonna hold my breath on having the internet for the trip.

You better get some more up before I leave! *shakes small white fist menacingly* haha

At the moment, directly from me, but they will be popping up at various events and I'm hoping to get a few of them into some online stores and one of the local shops here :)

We did go to Ireland, it rained like a mother the whole time we were there. Except when we went to the Dublin zoo, the sun came out that whole afternoon then rained again so not many pictures other than the animals :(

Here are 14 more! There are still lots, but life's been hectic lately and I haven't had alot of time to edit! I'll again try to put more captions above the pictures to give you all a little info about what you're looking at! (No idea why some of them came out different sizes, but regardless, they're all there. More to come!

Enjoy!

Here's another installment of pictures. Keep in mind how SMALL and quility deminished these photos are! Haha I had a friend tell me that they didnt look very sharp, but when I sent him the original, he could understand what I do to internet pictures :) They're small for a reason :P Some of these are different sizes and I'm not entirely sure why, I know it has something to do with the location that I upload them to and file size, but enjoy them none the less :)

Most of these are animals cause I did a lot of Dublin and Glasgow pics tonight :)

wicked photos Mel!!! My god, the history in them is like nothing you can find anywhere in North America. I'm always intrigued by photos such as these. What a great trip you went on. I hope to some day follow the path you have taken and experience this, as pictures (although yours are kickassed) can never say enough of what it was really like.

Thanks Ben! You have no idea how much I miss some of the places I visited! Doesn't matter where you are, the middle of a big quiet lake or even in the middle of a big city, you feel completely at peace and lucky to be able to be there! I would go back to any place I visited in a heartbeat!

What are everyone's favorite pictures of the one's I've posted? I'm trying to compile a list of the 'keepers' in order to sell them come september. If everyone could offer a few that they especially liked, that would be a HUGE help!

Other than the ones I've already mentioned, I really like the 2 Loch Lomond's as well.

My website is updated with all the pictures in this thread, as well as the rodeo ones I posted last week, only bigger! So if you want a better view of them, most are in the Location photography gallery and the others are in the animal Gallery. The rodeo is in the events gallery. Enjoy! :)
