Hey all, im currently looking for rims to put on my car but im experiencing some dillema, recently a member from here pm'd me and offered to sell me some rims for CHEAP (and i mean very cheap)......thing is, i have a suspicion that these might be stolen since there is no way someone in their right mind would sell 17 inch rims for that cheap with rubber.

my question is Should i consider buying these? all i know about them is that they are 17inch rims with good rubber (no brands were given)

*I wont mention any names in the thread*
*im not sure if they are stolen or not*

Could just be knock off wheels? Unless we are talking super cheap, was it below like $400?

U don't want 17s anyways bro. Tegs look best with some 15s or even better 16s. :poosie: Keep her clean!

Maybe you should ask that guy where he got the rims from and if he has proof of purchasing the rims. Make sure it's not stolen because if the original owners see you cruising around with their rims, well they wont be too happy that's for sure and buying something stolen will bite you in the ass at the end.

Does it matter if they are stolen?

I mean for $300 who cares

You cant even buy cheapp 15" tires for that price, so if the get confiscated just think of them as cheap replacement tires?!

^^^

It's called being wilfully blind. You can be charged for possesion of stolen property. If you have reasons to beleive that they are stolen in your mind then I would say let them go and dont lose any sleep over it. There are deals out there you just have to be patient.

To sum it up:

If something sounds to good to be true................

Um, if you buy stolen shit, it just makes the damn thieves do it more. I think the guy who had them jacked would probably care too.
