Sweet vid, impressive, I coulda gone w/o the first 3 mins though, I won't even pretend to know what they're talking about, all I see is pagoda tent sword symbol GT2 crazy talk, lol. It's funny how they sub title the same language they're speaking.

even though I am biased, its pretty cool that the NSX-r can keep up with those cars....most of them have almost double the HP and cost 3x as much (porche -t, lambo, and ferarri)....still, gotta love the f50, what a dominant car.

Agreed. The driver of the NSX was wringing everything he could out of it - even cutting the grass on the corners. The other drivers didn't seem to be working as hard. Now I know smooth is fast but I suspect the others weren't willing to risk as much. No doubt the F50 would win. I was more surprised that the Gemballa and Lambo finished behind the GT2. Goes to show the factory knows what works and what doesn't.

I think syeve's point was the fact that the NSX can, and did, hang with those other cars which had much more power and much higher price tags.

i dont know about the NSX HP stuff.. when they were interviewing the NSX-R at the beginning they did mention its got 500HP+

Well my opinion in this is, the type R had to have had some extra mods on it ! It was competing with cars that had twice as many cylinders and wieghed just as much. I am not a Acura/Honda guy but does the type R come superchared or is it still just the vtec 6 cyl ?
Also you can easily notice that the type R was braking way later and giving it a lot sooner then the other drivers, I dont know if that means the driver was better, trying harder or just every aspect of the nsx is by far superior to a lambo , but my guess is its not the last one :thumbsup:

Just realized that I have watched a video with all the same drivers before, it was a skyline GTR R34, 2 Evos, Rx7, skyline GTR R33, and 2 nsx's one was a type s and one was a zero or something not quite sure...
The guy that whooped ass was in the Rx7 which was the same driver in the nsx r in this race , and he was even complaining that he had the flu ( english sub titles )... but in this race both nsx's sucked, and only beat the evos because one of them had tranny problems and the other one was a crappy base model or something

yes, as far as I can tell thats a stock NSX-R which I believe has 290 HP...why cant you believe it, thats one of the most advanced cars in the world! even if the driver was "pushing it" I still think you guys are reaching...the only person I know that has ever driven one was Nelson and he has driven A LOT of cars and to this day he says that the NSX was a perfect car period. I would still rather have the lambo or ferarri but repect is due when respect is due.
