Wiring An Amp Into A Cr-V

Hey just gonna start ripping my cr-v apart to put in my stereo. wondering if there is any pre driled places to put the wire through. its 4guage. so yeah its pretty big. i'm gonna mount it in the back storage area not under the pasanger seat.

just check for grommets in the firewall?

yeah i found a couple but i was just wondering from others experience which way was best to run it through the car (under carpet, floor boards etc. and installing the amp in the storage in the trunk is something i wanna do to..


just looking for other cr-v'ers experiences and ideas

I did an install in my buddys CRV..it was a little older though.

Ran it through the firewall, then just under the carpet on the passenger side. We mounted the amp to the back of the seat and applied a layer of carpet on top of the amp to conceal it. We ran the RCA's and remote wire on the drivers side of the car - turned out pretty well :)
