Burning Videos to a DVD-R

How can it be done? I have a ton of AVIs that I want to put on DVD and play them on my dvd player, but I need to know how its done.

you need to convert them to mpeg2/dvd format

this should get you started. i'd say it's not worth it and you should just buy a dvd player which plays avi files.

What do you use to burn programs? My DVD-RW came with a program called WinDVD and it includes WinDVD Creator. I've made about 3 movies using WinDVD creator and its really easy to use and it makes pretty good movies.
