That is the coolest must-have gizmo I've seen in awhile! Only problem is I'd have to break my habit of pounding on keyboards as a frustration release. :D

every key is an LCD screen so whatever that screen can fit into it will work

its not real. its not even a prototype, its only a rendered prototype.

so its only a digital concept really

super cool idea, but would be very very expensive to make. 110 small lcd screens, yikes!

They could use monochrome screens to make things cheaper. It wouldn't look as nice, but it'll be more affordable.

I read that it does not use LCD screens in each one... which would not make much sence. They keys would be heavy, you need a backlight and a thicker space between the screen and the edge of the key.
I read elsewhere that It (will) uses OLED screens. Lighter thiner and use less power.

engadget reports that optimus is looking for the $200-300 mark, making it even more expensive than the diNuovo
and the OLEDs look like they are on 'every' key=)

That is sexy.

I coulda used that keyboard back in the 90's, when they still sold flight simulators that used up every key twice.

Don't those few phrases seem odd to anyone else?

Why would they put those things in there?

I really do hope it is real though...even though it says "It will be real"

I think that will depend on how many people buy them. It seems that the nerd factor on them is quite high. lol, I will have one, if they do come out.
