We have about 12 or more cars that we want to put in and more from people asking us to put them in with us. We will have about 8-10 cars i think is what the are letting us put in.

WoW is Feb 21-23 and yes, they do encourage a heavily moddified car to be entered and it goes through selection. You need to submit entry applications, photos, the whole nine on top of an entry fee

This application shall be accompanied by 3/4 front and 3/4 rear view photographs of the aforesaid vehicle in display, if available. If said photographs are not submitted with this application, acceptance by the producer shall be conditioned upon producer's final approval of the vehicle at the time and place of move-in for the show.

N i've looked at previous show photos n they arent all like $20 000 in mods cars.

Also only a small amount of vehicles can actually go in a companys booth as they have booth size limits and the bigger the booth the more $$$ it costs. No approval is nessesary for these vehicles.

No, but you think that if they have 500 cars apply and only spots for say 300, you think they're gonna say yes to the cars that they have never seen instead of those that have pictures and on the 21st they arrive and turns out that the car without the picture is crap and doesn't deserve to be in the show? you'll have a better chance with photos

a lot of the guys were turned off by the show because of last years odd way of judging I agree with Jason that it is a lot of trouble for one show and its difficult to see a true winner from these judges

Why do you say such a thing? If you are only entering your car in the one show. the judging doesn't matter.

If you want to win some $$$, you have to get a copy of the rule book and present your car the way the judges want to see it.

That means open hood, open doors, open trunk.

It just has to be clean and presentable, not $50 G's worth of mods (although it helps).

I was in it a few years ago and I won 1st place in my category with stock paint that was 10 years old.

I know Imports aren't really the main focus at the show, but since its Calgary's only confirmed show, I'll be entering my car. Its gonna be my first time entering.

We applied for 15 cars and hope for 8. We will find out next week who gets in. We have Nicoles Teg. Marlons civic/EL, A silver RSX, Blue civic hatch, Silver Prelude, Blue CRX, Robs Civic, those are the main ones that will be in our booth i know there alot more and we have got alot of entries at the shop. Will be a good trn out.
