just to let you know,

If you are thinking of replacing you hooped hard drive in your xbox it will not work, a xbox hard drive is locked/unlock with a eeprom.bin file that is married to the motherboard.

BUT if you have a chip the chip will bypass this and basicly you can stick almost any harddrive in there.

also with a softmod you will need the eeprom to unlock/lock the harddrive before the xbox will boot!

just for kicks, is your xbox hooped? wif so what error code are you gettin?

no its not hooped

i put in a 80 GIG, but looking to sell and was going to put in the original, I think its a soft mod.
I just dont think it I will get that much more for the games and the HD, so thats why im looking.

as long as it soft mod you can put another drive in there, takes more work but still do able :)
