Hey guys, my roommate is moving out september 1st and I need someone to move into his room. I'm in a two room 3rd floor apartment in sunnyside. Pretty big living room, tiny kitchen, and decent sized rooms. Share the bathroom. There isn't a lot of storage space in here, so if you've got a ton of stuff it might not be for you (I'll post pictures tommorow). Rent is 400$ a month and that includes heat and water. Electric bill is only around 25-30$ a month split in two. I also have cable, phone, and internet for bills, but we could talk about that if you're interested. I already have new furniture, as well as a big screen (53") and stereo. The only thing you need to furnish is your room. There is also a 400$ damage deposit. I don't have a preference for male/female roommate as long as you can pay the rent each month. Although I guess it will be 99% guys looking at this anyways, haha. where exactly is sunnyside and how do you feel about a kitty... shes really cute and non-allergenic... :angel:

Sunnyside is just east of kensington. It's right across the bow river from downtown. I work downtown and it's a fifteen minute walk to my building, very close to safeway and everything else that is in kensington. I would have absolutely no problem with a cat, but the landlord does. I know the guy that owns the building as well of some of his friends and I'm trying to get that little rule changed as I want to get a small dog. But so far no luck so I guess you're out of luck. Sorry.

I'll see what I can do and I'll get back to you, but this guy is a hard ass about pets. I really want one too though so I'll let you know what happens.

No, I haven't been able to get a hold of the landlord yet. I'm guessing if the kittty isn't allowed you won't move?
