I'm headed down to Orlando this week for a conference but I'll have plenty of time to relax and check things out down there. So other than the standard theme parks, can anyone recommend some stuff to do? I'm looking for some good restaurants, good site seeing stuff. BTW I'm going with my fiance.

If you want to act like a tourist then go to international avenue for souvenier (sp?) shopping and see the worlds largest mcdonalds. Better yet, just ask the concierge at the hotel your staying at.

Thanks for the advice all. Back from Orlando now. It was brutally hot, hitting 108F one day. The humidity was insane as well. My glasses and sunglasses were fogging up when I walked outside. But all in all a good trip, did the DisneyWorld thing, Sea World and some other touristy stuff.

Sigh, didn't get to head to the beaches. I was there for a conference so some of my time was tied up. But I did take advantage of some pool side tanning at the resort I stayed at.
