.mpg convertor! HELP!!

anyone know where i can find a free software, or trial software that can convert a .mpg file to a .mpeg? PLEASE HELP!

Try digging around there. They're very thorough with their explainations and provide links to free downloads to all the tools you need. If you're going to compress it, the best way to go is probably mpg to Dvix.
