Going to Edmonton Saturday morning for a bachelors party...and staying til Sunday nite, wondering what there is to do in Edmonton???

i agree check out the water park in the mall & maybe the roller coaster too. If your going to be in Edmonton on Sunday, there is a drift event D-sport I believe in Stratotech raceway.

Whats the big difference between Kdays and Stampede?

The rides are the same, beer garden is a beer garden, Kdays has chuck wagan races? I've never been to the stampede so this is a serious question.

Saturday night if you can find United Cycle, theres a car gathering down there. Its pretty big, and a lot of clubs are supposed to be out this Saturday.

Sunday is the main drift even being put on by D-Sport in Edmonton. Its up at Stratotech Park (just north of Edmonton) and theres lots of prizes, and 5 bucks to watch I think. Should be pretty good.

During the summer, this place is festival city, it's actually pretty bumpin. During the 2-3 short months of warmth, there's a shitload of stuff going on. Right now, there's K days, A Taste of Edmonton, World Master's Games, Heritage Festival, and other shit..

Mind you half the festivals are stupid, but it's still something that Calgary doesn't have...

I dont get why everyones knocking Edmonton so much. I'm not from there, but everytime I go down there I have a wicked time. If your into clubbing/bars, Edmonton has a surprising large amount of hot girls and the party scene is pretty good. Obviously its going to be a bit more ghetto, but you cant expect a blue collar city to be on the same level as a white collar type city like Calgary.
