Does anyone know of any local places that will re-clearcoat headlights?

if you have cloudy headlights you can clear coat them to bring back a very shiny housing

they're jdm prelude lights. The finish on the glass part of the lights is peeling-I assumed this is clearcoat

It never at any time entered my mind that headlights had clearcoat on them. Maybe it's the plastic used to ship them, and you forgot to take it off? LOL.

A picture would help. Is it like a film? does it look chipped or cloudy?

Yes all JDM headlights have a clear coat on them, what you can do is wetsand them and reclear the headlights, a lot of people with the 1piece lights run into this problem
