Im looking for work on the rigs $18 hr + what is the best position to apply for if Im looking for long term and something that is definetly worth the money. Any help is appreciated.

Go in and tell them you want to be a push, see what they say.

Seriously, if you're on circus rigs, and you don't have experience, you're gonna be a roughneck. Good luck with that.

roughneck... what exactly do they do and what is usual hours/take home pay a month?

I know riggers who are clearing 5 grand a month

Anybody know who I could contact or a place I could go to find out more, or maybe a website, I'm looking at going to the fields, the danger doesn't bother me, I just wanna make some good coin.

lol, whatever hours you're told to where ever they send you.

And yes, you don't get to choose your position. You start at the shittiest position, and move to less shitty positions as the years go on.

No education:
Service Rig: Roughneck
Drilling Rig: Leasehand

2 yr diploma / degree:
MWD, Field Supervisor (wireline, frac, coil tubing, cementing)

Easy 70K - 90K+ to start.
