I had just dropped my girlfriend off in the NE area and was driving back to where I was staying in the NW. At about 10:35PM along McKnight I saw a blue wrx sti and a silver civic near it. Then along John Laurie I got a video from my digital camera of fire coming out of the sti's exhaust.

Just thought I would post the video incase anyone is interested in seeing it, or if the owner of the car wants to see what his ride looks like from behind.

Nice car, I'm pretty sure it was an sti anyway.

yeah i would say that was me, but

1. that exhaust is to quite
2. i dont remember if i was in calgary that day or not

but yeah since my car does that my rear bumper has a nice saggy part where it has melted...:(

STi's can make like 8 foot flames if they disconect the bypass valve and vent to air, with no cats that is

rich condition. the cars arent meant for BOVs, the air that is released is measured, expected to be recirculated instead dumped. ecu adds the appropriate amount of fuel for what air it thinks is there (but in reality was shot out the bov) meaning there is temporarily a lot of fuel and little air.
