Summertime MR2 meet! TONIGHT AUG 4th Wings Night and Cruise!

Ok Ive been so busy this summer I have been putting off a meet but its about time we get one going.

When: Thursday August 4th
Time: 730pm
Where: Chinook Mall upper parkade followed by a cruise to 17th Ave and Wings at 1410

I got a call from work on the way and had to bail out. Sorry guys.

It was good to see some of the other duces in town and see what people are doing with them. Just to help people line the board name up with the car mine was the red 91 with the purple blow off valve.

We got some interesting looks from people when we were wheeling down Mcleod. We need some more guys to show up to make it better. I saw more first gens on 17th than I did at the meet.

Max I was hoping to meet you there. You'll have to be at the next one.

Yeah it was a good time. I liked the looks people gave us on on the streets. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer. Next time for sure. To match me with my car: I was the only MK I there. Felt very outnumbered....

Sounds serious. That can be more expensive than a coke habit and like herpies it never really goes away. The upside though is the feeling good part lasts a lot longer.

I wonder how those 30 foot tall people fit in a little MR2?

Thanks for the pics Jackie, I have some moving shots of the cruise to 17th ave, Ill post them when i get home. This meet was a great time, Im in LA the end of August but back the beginning of sept so perhaps teh week right after the sept long weekend.

Actually shay we met at the Mowhawk down by race city.

Those are the TRD springs on there Max. The STechs look about 1/4" lower. They feel like they are 2 feet lower though. It is amazing what a change less than an inch can make in the feel. When I first put the TRD springs in it felt like I was driving a 4x4.

Those are great pictures. They make my car look so much better than it really is.
