No, I don't think it's based on his life. Besides, most people wouldn't be stupid enough to base a movie on their life and show scenes where they rob a bank, prior to serving time for said crimes.

If it was based on their real life, it would be boring because it would show that they grew up normally (Albeit poor). Just look at The Game's so-called thug life. Times were so tough, yet he still found time to appear on "Change of Heart" :rolleyes: Gimme a fucking break. All that gangster life BS is stuff they make up after they've achieved fame.

They sing about how tough times are, but how can times be tough when all they do is rapidly tour across countries putting on rap shows? They live off a bus and - when they're not on it - they're on stage. Then they rush back to the bus and head for the next city. Pretty hard to find time to get off the bus and deal crack at the local ghetto corner.

But if it is the same people who did 8 Mile, i could see it as a enjoyable movie though i can rarely understand what 50 says
