Favorite Gran Turismo 3 Car?

I've had this game forever, but just started playing this weekend and I'm addicted. Finally got unhooked from Vice City.

I have an Audi S4 in black, with the Stage 1 turbo kit, Stage 3 exhaust, chip, Stage 2 suspension, brakes, and I'm sitting on OZ Racing F1 cup rims (the dark colored ones with the yellow writing), and it's my favorite car so far.

What about you guys?

so many good ones but some of my favorites:

JDM ITR, fully modified NA...its fun with boost but I like it NA

Spoon Civic- crazy handler but I don't like the sound of 16k rpm:D

Nismo R34 R-TUNE: Dope ride

S14 Silvia - Drift

CLK55 AMG - Put some amg style wheels on that and its dope (not the stock amg wheels....get some from OZ)

Supra RZ- Fully modify to get 1000 something HP..so hard to drive on any course (without traction control etc..)

180SX - Drift

I probably like more but those are my fav for now

Ya...I've had that game since it came out, But i've only played like 2 hours thats it, cause I got GTA3, then Vice City, And I got The Getaway a couple of days ago...But that game IS REALLY GOOD...meh, I'll play it after im done the Getaway lol...

I have too many modded (everything you can buy) cars, so i like to use the race cars that i have won.

First Car - Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex


That game is tooooo fun. I blew so much time on those damn endurance races. In terms of money i have enough to buy any car and do everything to it. Thats why I stoped, it got to the point where i didnt need to do anymore. And that was with less than 50% finished.


My fav track is Leguna Seca. Me and the Corvette had many a good race there.

hmmm dont have very many cars but, my best car in my garage right now would be the STi with a stage 3 turbo, and virtually every part you can buy except for a stage 3 lightening, hehe i did the 1/4 mile timing runs, 10.7 secs, my fastest car i have right now, ooo i wish money could come into my pocket that easily:(

My Spoon s2000 car and my honda NSX rip up the N/A leagues. o and i forgot to mention my rx-8 too, also pretty awsome car! my rsx type-s sucks :thumbsdow

not sure what the name of the car is, but it's the racecar you use in monaco for your last SS liscense test. That car drifts a lot, and it's really fun to drive. That's my favorite car. :D

use ur gameshark(if you have one) to disable the counter thingy then u have as much time as you want for the license..

That would be the Toyota GT-One. You can get the Race or Road version later on the in game as a prize car. I am currently at 92.4%. Only the TimeTrial Events and a few Professional series is what seperates me from 100%.

I got a bit bored with the game and decided to spice it up a bit. Got the Nomad Diablo to breathe a little bit more life into the game since I have been playing it on and off since it came out. I am still working on getting the Porsche 996 GT3 and the Lancia Stratos Road and Rally version.

You don't get money for completing them. However if you get all Golds in a particular license set, you do win a car which you could sell for money.

Can anyone shift up or down using one botton. Also when you use this botton it sounds liek your power shifting but you can only shift when your past the redline. GREAT launch when done!:burnout:

has anyone made the escado pikes peek lift off the ground.

Using these specs: set spring rate to the lowest
: ride hight to the lowest
:set gears to the widest and final gear to 3.000
:set front downforce to the lowest
:set rear downforce to the highest

Once you start turn around go just over half way of the corner and then start and gun it and once you hit about 230 the car will lift off the ground and you'll do about 850mph.

It is also posable to hit mach 2 which is about 1500mph but i havent done it.

Make sure your car is tuned to the max.

LOL Yeah. But sometimes they aren't to specific. That race in particular just said "Limited", it didn't say anything about a speific weight. Strange though, the Lotus Elise weighs less that the Daihatsu that I used, but it wouldn't let me use the Lotus. Oh well. I rocked all over it anyways :)

Where it sez limited hit 'x' then a list of cars will come up.

Its not the weight of the car, its the engine displacement the lightweight race is comparing.

I stopped playing GT3 A-spec a long time ago because the way it handles tire wear was just pissing me off. Picked it up again after so long and sucked :D To think I used to be good at that game.

Thats what ASM and TCS are for :) Combine that with an AWD car with a differential controller and you should be alright. I used a Skyline GTR R32 for the 80's cup in the Amateur League. I bought a differential controller and set it to 10% front, so I had most of the power at the rear wheels. That car rocked all over everyone :)
