Does anyone know where they take fairly useless and old cars in town for cash? something around 100-200 bux?
my frnd has an 89 integra that he wants to get rid of, and he doesn't want to take it to pick a part on barlow ~

Here's an option if he was planning to get a new GM vehicle.

Another option is to talk it to pick and pull and you have three optioins. You can take a payout on the bulk mass 50-100 bux probably. Second you can get a 250 tax receipt. Last you can trade it for 6 bus passes. I did the bus pass route and then resold the passes for $60. Thus converting it to $360. It takes a while but it pays off. Only stipulation is that the car must be licenced and insured in the last 6 monts.

donate it to the childrens hospital (thats what I did) and we got a tax reduction or something like that

Kidney Foundation will give you a tax receipt AND come pick it up.

As far as I can tell, yes. I think it's a $50 receipt regardless.
