WTB: Canon SD500, Probably a logn shot. but...

hey, i would like to buy a Canon SD500 on friday august 5th (my brothers wedding is on the weekend and i'd like it for that) and i have $500 to spend on it, i would like it new or very close to it.

If anyone can get a deal at future shop or something that'd be the best, or if someone just bought one and regrets it (yeah right) anyways, if anyone can help me out shoot me a PM.

well i may consider something comperable (but the wife may not, this is her toy, i have a Digital Rebel) but i woud really really like the sd500.

did you want it for the 7 mp or the compact size?

nikon has 2 cameras that are less than $500.

the S1 is compact, 5mp and has a 2.5 inch screen, runs on SD
the 7600 is black and is 7mp, but it runs on 2 AA. it's still an excellent camera

both are about $440
