Too bad I just read this I did a big order last week. We had a wicked weekend with em this weekend. The really big shells require a permit and are freakin expensive. But the class C family fireworks are permitted outside the city and are reasonably priced. There are quite a few people in AB that will do a private show but again $$$cost $$$. For example one 3" shell is about $50 a big 12" or 16" shell is about $375 so you can see that cost will be huge for even the smallest show. The family ones I order are gooooooood They are the closest you'll get to the big shells without massive cost or permits. So slick2404 I'm doing another order for the Sept long weekend. If this helps ya let me know and I'll get you a list with prices and you can join in on the order. I love it when the Purolator guy brings me a big box marked EXPLOSIVES hehehe
