i have a set of used endless zeal function s-6 full coilover struts installed in car yesterday (sun. jul. 31 '05). and i was wondering, do full coilover struts (shocks included) need a couple days to settle?

here are the pics of the suspension prior to install.

well because the set-up sat un-used for a period of time. Now by adding the weight of your toight whip...they will settle slightly over usually a week of regular driving...

and the shock won't be doing any settling...it will be the springs...

Can't you lower them? It's not likely that a good set of springs will settle, usually its the cheaper stuff that settles slowly over time and begins to sag.

u can lower them. but i will see how it goes after a week. as EK said, these havent seen action in god knows how long. they were just sitting in a junker somewhere until JDM source ended up with them.

Holy shit those are rusted to hell! How can you be sure that the shocks aren't half blown already?
