This T4 only has ~$3000 income to it.
I totally forgot to file it for for the 2004 tax return.

Should I bother doing anything about it at all? :banghead:
What can happen?
fine and/or jail? :confused: :nut::dunno:

help.

don't worry about it till someone mentions it, then just say you didnt even realize what you did and you would like to know how to fix it.

Revenue Canada doesn't believe in "I forgot about it".

Update it!

As Kenny said, you should update it.

You will probably have to pay some sort of penalty for paying the taxes late. Better to pay it now that wait 5 years for them to come after you. Compound interest sucks.

With an income of 3 grand, you aren't going to pay any taxes. Just update it for your records....missing tax returns are a good way to get unwanted attention from Revenue Canada

^ He said it was "one" of the tax returns. Its likely that he would owe taxes, otherwise there would be no hesitation in trying to file it if he were owed a return.

Ignorance is not an excuse. File it as it more than likely means that you owe more to the government than you have already paid, and they won't like that.

Am I lost here... or why would you be filling out your own T4? Why wouldn't you just declare the income on your tax return?
