haha that isnt hondas first recall....every manufacturer has a few majpr recalls every now and then. the next time u take your car to get it serviced by the dealer, theyll fix everything for u

I remember that Ford Aerostar recall where the steering columns would spontaniously combust! I guess they were innovating the Heated Steering wheel, haha

My dad had a '93 Ford Econoline Diesel back in the day that had power seats with the 'throw a flame at my ass' feature.

I was told that Honda was doing this recall in phases. One of my friends got her recall for her 98 CR-V 3 months ago. Its been in and fixed a long time ago. The dealer was checking on the status of mine last time it went in (if its affected or not).

my bro got in the mail 1998-2002 accords all models automatic transmissions have a extra 7 year warranty because the reverse has a few problems.

At least Ford acknowledges their problems. Ask any V65 owner what they think about Hondas warranty.

I think that Rolland (DIRTY_SOHC) got this recall, he got the ignition switch replaced, he had to pay for labour though I think but the parts were paid for by Honda.....
