My dad is seriously looking into the 300z fairlady TT's. We've found a few at auction and for private sale in japan and surrounding area for ~280,000 yen up to around 400,000 yen, which equivelates around 4500 canadian tops + auction fees.

What are the prices associated with getting it here? ANybody have a web link?

talk to importconcern.

If you look at their site, I think most of the details are there.

http://zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/hesitation/hesitation.html they usually have problems with hesitation and stuttering, there is a few problems related with this, the PTU (power transistor unit) or ignition control module, i changed these among other things and got nothing out of it, did plugs and fuel filter and fuel lines and everything and it didnt change it.

it turned out to be a fuel pump wire or something was sending information to the computer that it wasnt grounded properly so hat fixed it and was nice, check out a couple 300zx sites they state all the problems, there isnt too many but when they occur they are super costly to fix, that engine bay is tighter then a nuns cunt around christmas

becareful of nissan 300, i had a 94 years back nothing but trouble, it wasnt even a turbo. it only had 100,000 km, and the engine wasnt running that well. so i said i would get a jdm one, thinking if a supra 7m gte turbo was only 800 bucks at the time (2001), no i was wrong, it was $4500 lowest i could find was at yoko JDM tire used engines

and parts where so expensive and unreilable. oh well.

u can get jdm 300 motors for like 2500, and u cant compare a 7 mgte to a vg30dett, cause it comes with 2 turbos and a shitload more power

Do it on your own.

It's not that big of a deal.

How would someone interested in importing a car themselves go about it?

How about I pay one of you guys $500 to do it for me? Probably less then ImportConcern charges...
