If you are more leanient on the age, get a Supra :D. You can snab a NA 98 for about 20 and if you can, you can get a TT model for about 35k (from the states of course)

RSX S, WRX, Super Neon...

Boxsters are pretty nice cars. Up to 04 the base boxster is rated at 225hp and the type S boxster is rated at 260hp. But Porsches hold their value EXTREMELY well. It's very doubtful you could find one for 30000. The S2000 is pretty much direct competition with 350Z, it's a lot less torquey and a lot smaller so it might not be the most practical car, but since you have two cars....

I maybe bias but, a 350z is good fit for what you want. Two seats ( no room for bums) and a respectable motor. IMO the Z will snap with wheels and suspension work, you can't go wrong. There is nothing better than a clean looking coupe.

Honda S2000 as it's the only $30000 Honda worth buying. Honda Civic RSX Type S is just too much money for a civic. 350Z is a nice car if you can live with less than average Nissan reliability. Personally I would stay away from any used BMW's as they don't age well and are costly to repair.

Now that I think about it S2000 for sure. Looks sweet, handles great, racey engine, not an abundace of them on the roads either. Or you could wait a year and maybe be able to pick up an Acura TL. Those are beautiful cars.

In a month when the 2006s come out You could get a 05 for 30 grand. Really nice cars. Handle well, top notch quality, excellent interior. And in the future if you decide to mod K series has amazing N/A potential.

I'm looking too, and leaning towards the 350z or the G35 coupe. I would recommend an s2000 year 2002 or newer. I just sold my 2000 s2000.
