Hmm what a bad representation by the Calgary Mr2's.

None of you guys showed up.

It was 4 of us that actually came from edmonton and participated in the show and shine, and I was the only mr2 racing...

I mean come on, its in your own city, i drove over 300 km's, risked breaking down in a city far from home, and I still raced.

It was a blast tho cruising down, and cruising back up.

It would have been nice to at least meet some of you during the weekend, even if it wasn't at SCC, but whatever.....

I was up in Red Deer fighting it out in the CAC nationals.

For the record midship and his co-driver finished 1,2 in B Stock with his 93T. The guy midship beat BTW is a SCCA national champion. Kevin took 4th in B Stock in his 91T sunroof.

Peter and Steven from Vancouver took 1,2 in E Stock in their 91N/A. Dave took 4th in his first Gen. Tara from Vancouver took first in ESL in the same car as Peter and Steven

DR.Pepper from Saskatoon took first place in A Super Stock in his 91T.

I took third in A Street Prepaired in my 91T.

My co-driver War in D Mod which is the wildest class there is based on a production car. Unlimited suspension/chassis changes and unlimited engine came out of day one 1/10th of a second ahead of the competition and on day 2 got nudged back into second. Not bad since my car is still about 6 prep points short of actually being in D Modified. He just ran there so we wouldn't be running in the same run group.

So ya. Maybe we were a little understaffed, but the dueces were busy takin care of buisness.

I wanted to come really bad, but it was my buddies stag party...and being in the wedding party and also planning the party, i kinda had to be there.

I defenatly plan on coming to Edmonton, as long as i can get the time off work.
