Arent they supposed to be only $1? Since most of the proceeds are supposed to go to the Lance Armstrong Foundation?

At $5 it sounds like someone is trying to make a bit of a profit using a fad and a charity as their pawns.

no shit! 5 $ is a scam....lance doesnt take 1 cent of the livestong bands.... the average price is 1.50 and 50 cents goes to the seller and $1 goes right to cancer research.

Everyone's saying that it's 1 dollar, but you have to account for the shipping cost and the fact that it's 1 dollar american.

The total for ten bands is $21.85 USD which turns out to be $26.54 CND.
Which is $2.65/band. Not 1 dollar and also not 5.
